Located in an isolated part of the Pacific Ocean, the islands and atolls of French Polynesia are divided into five unique archipelagoes, each with its own distinct culture, history, landscape, and traditions. Well-known destinations such as Tahiti and Bora Bora are located within the Society Archipelago, also known as the Society Islands.
